Our Goal

In alignment with the overarching vision and mission of ANAT, the Christian Education Ministry aims to institute a spiritual, social, emotional and academic climate that will facilitate, foster and motivate the development of the “Total Man” from birth through adulthood.

Through solid Christian teachings and effective ministries, it is our goal to equip our children, youth and adults with the biblical knowledge and practical skills they need to impact their lives spiritually, socio-emotionally, and academically so they can live a victorious Christian life.

Jennifer Faulkner – Director CEM

ANAT Christian Education Ministry (CEM) is led by Jennifer Faulkner. She is ably assisted by Assistant Director, Donna  Thomas, Sunday School Superintendent, Geraldine Buckle and a team of volunteers serving in all Christian education functions. CEM aims to institute a spiritual, social, emotional and academic climate that will facilitate, foster and motivate the development of the “Total Man” from birth through adulthood. Please join our team as we try to provide a high level of service to all age groups and categories of members and visitors.

Ministry Events/Activities

  • Children Evangelism
    • Children evangelism focuses on our children and grants them the opportunity to give full leadership to the adult worship services through reading the word, singing, testimonies, and preaching the word.
  • Vacation Bible School (VBS)
    • VBS is a free one week summer program for children ages 2-17. The activities include Bible story lessons, music, nonstop fun and games, and arts and crafts.
    • The operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. At the end of VBS there is a special presentation for the family and friends.
  • Annual Children’s Banquet
    • A special time when the CEM leaders and teachers honor our children, our “Kingdom Diamonds Shining Bright.” They come regally attired in a delightful atmosphere of elegance, fellowship, games, food and fun.
  • ANAT Picnic/Olympics
    • CEM collaborates with the Youth and Men’s Ministry to organize the annual ANAT Summer Olympics. This is a wonderful day for ANAT family and friends to engage in fellowship, friendly sports competition, fun-filled activities, and of course eating “lots of food.”
  • Operation Christmas Shoebox
    • CEM collaborates with the Choir Ministry annually to spare lead the initiative of partnering with Samaritan’s Purse Organization in packing shoe boxes filled with gift items for children living in poverty all over the world. The saints are encouraged to get involved and are often excited to participate.
  • Snack Feeding Program
    • Children are served free snacks during our Sunday school and Junior church services.
  • Christmas Program
    • Our annual Christmas program is the time for all Sunday school students to celebrate not only the birth of Jesus Christ, but the real reason for the Christmas season.

Divisions of CEM

  • Sunday School
    • Through Sunday school, a firm biblical foundation is laid so our students may be grounded in their faith and be empowered to live a victorious Christian life.
    • Sunday school is uniquely positioned to accomplish the mission of the church in the local congregation – “soul winning” for “Great Sunday School Build Great Churches.”

  • Junior Church
    • Junior Church worship services are structured to model the adult worship service at a child-centered level.
    • The services are geared for children ages 0 to 13 years old.
Ministry leaders of the church are often asked to minister at different times in these services which is a great opportunity for our leaders to connect with our children on their level.

  • Teen Tab CEM’s newest addition to the family.
    • Teen Tab is a teen centered worship service that seeks to address issues that plagues our teens spiritual and Christ relational growth. The Services are structured to model the general assembly’s worship service or they can take on the structure of a informative session, all geared toward the teen age.
    • The services are geared toward teens ages 13 to 17 years old.
Ministry leaders and congregational  members with specialized experience or talents are often asked to minister at different times in these services.
